Terms of service
Elevate is operated by Catalyst Innovations LLC for eligible United States organizations and community teams. By creating a workspace, the authorized representative or responsible adult confirms they are at least 18, have authority to act for the fundraising group, and will keep account information accurate.
The customer is responsible for campaign claims, fundraising authority, tax treatment, refunds, and applicable fundraising rules. Elevate may pause access to protect participants, supporters, payment recipients, providers, or the platform.
Eligibility and verification
Eligible customers include teams, churches, schools, nonprofits, clubs, and other community organizations led by authorized representatives in the United States. A community team without its own EIN may use the responsible-adult recipient pathway. Personal causes and individual crowdfunding are not eligible.
Public fundraising remains unavailable until the required representative or responsible-adult identity and connected payout account satisfy Stripe verification. Organization customers may also need to verify their legal organization and authority. Mismatches, duplicates, provider failures, suspicious activity, or inconsistent information may require additional review.
Fees, memberships, and payouts
A Single Campaign costs $500 and activates one 14-day fundraiser. An active campaign may purchase one seven-day extension for $200. The Organization Membership costs $225 monthly for a 12-month renewable term and includes six campaigns per membership year. Additional membership campaigns cost $450 each, with a maximum of 25 campaigns per membership year. Elevate collects 8% from every provider-confirmed contribution; payment-provider processing fees are separate.
For an eligible community team, one payer or multiple families may fund the $500 setup fee within the displayed seven-day funding period. These payments are service-fee contributions, not charitable donations or campaign proceeds, and do not count toward fundraising progress. Elevate refunds the service-fee contributions if the funding round does not reach $500, is canceled, or cannot be authorized.
Campaign managers may launch included or prepaid campaigns. Only organization administrators may purchase additional campaigns or review billing and fee details. After campaign close, Elevate reconciles settled funds and adjustments before releasing the available net proceeds to the verified payout recipient. Elevate is not an escrow service, and transfer and bank-payout timing remain subject to payment-provider, risk, dispute, and banking controls.
Refunds, disputes, renewals, and cancellations
A fully funded campaign setup, additional campaign, or extension purchase becomes nonrefundable when its corresponding public fundraising period activates, except where law or the customer agreement requires otherwise. Before activation, contact support for a purchase review. An incomplete or canceled community-team setup-fee round follows the automatic refund terms described above.
Contribution refunds proportionally reverse the related Elevate proceeds fee. Refunds, partial refunds, disputes, and chargebacks adjust reporting only after confirmed provider records. Membership renewal notices are sent in advance; cancellation applies at the end of the current term under the organization agreement.
Privacy and participant safety
Elevate may store optional, names-only participant records so an organization can privately attribute fundraising progress. Elevate does not require participant phone numbers, email addresses, birth dates, or public roster profiles.
Public campaign pages represent the organization and its approved mission. Elevate does not publish participant rosters, children’s contact information, individual totals, or personal profiles. A supporter sees a participant’s full name only after opening that participant’s approved private attribution link.
Authorized representatives may request access, correction, export, deletion, or consent withdrawal. Financial, fraud-prevention, audit, and legal records may be retained when required. Verification documents are stored privately with restricted access and retention controls.
Acceptable use
Users may not make false authority claims, misrepresent campaign needs, fundraise unlawfully, evade provider fees, use personal-transfer workarounds, upload unnecessary personal information, solicit children directly, harass others, or bypass account or tenant controls.
AI assistance may organize or polish administrator-provided material, but an authorized organization administrator must review content before publication. Users may not rely on AI output as legal, tax, financial, or safety advice.
Communications and electronic records
Elevate sends transactional messages for account access, verification, receipts, security, support, and campaign operations. Optional email reminders follow recorded account and campaign preferences. Users consent to electronic records and may retain copies through reports and exports.
SMS messages are sent only to a mobile number associated with the applicable recorded consent. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. SMS consent is optional and is not required to donate.
Support and policy requests
For account, privacy, refund, accessibility, or emergency takedown requests, use Support. Include no passwords, banking credentials, or unnecessary participant information. Material policy updates will carry a new effective date.
